This page describes the cookies www.ranvot.com uses and how you can manage your choice. It supplements the Privacy policy.
What we use
The strictly necessary cookies are always on and need no consent. With your consent the site also uses:
- Statistics: Google Analytics 4 (Google), to know how many people visit the site, which pages they read and which visits lead to an enquiry.
- Advertising: the Meta Pixel (Facebook, Instagram) and the ChatGPT ads pixel (OpenAI), to know which adverts lead to an enquiry and to show adverts to people who visited the site.
These tools are loaded through Google Tag Manager (Google). Before you make a choice, Google’s tags are told that statistics and advertising are refused (Google Consent Mode v2). Google then neither sets nor reads cookies and may only receive anonymous signals without cookies (browser type, time, page). The Meta and OpenAI pixels do not load at all until you allow “Advertising”.
How consent works
On your first visit the site shows a banner with the “Accept all” and “Reject all” buttons, which are equally visible, and a “Settings” button to choose “Statistics” and “Advertising” separately. Both are off until you switch them on. Until you make a choice, no cookie other than strictly necessary ones is set, and the site works fully without a choice.
Your choice is kept in the rv_consent cookie for 12 months. You can change it at any time from “Cookie settings” at the bottom of the site.
When you withdraw consent, the site deletes its own cookies of that category (_ga, _ga_*, _fbp, _fbc). Third-party cookies such as fr stop being refreshed; you can also delete them in your browser. Withdrawal does not affect the processing before it.
Categories
- Necessary: running the site, remembering the language and the cookie choice itself. Always active, no consent required.
- Statistics: Google Analytics 4, to know how the pages are used and improve them. Set only after consent.
- Advertising: the Meta Pixel and the ChatGPT ads pixel (OpenAI), to measure our adverts and show them to people who visited the site. Set only after consent.
